What is Master pages?

 What is Master pages.

    A master page is a non printing page that you can use as the template for the rest of the pages in your document. Master pages can contain text and graphic elements that will appear on all pages of a publication (i.e. headens, footers, page numbers etc) 

#* Page Numbering 

Select master page in page pane

Create text area by clicking on text tool 

Click on type menu

Click on Insert special character

Click on Markers 

Click on current page number

Now you can see the page number where type tool 18 active 

Select the first page in the document in the page pane

Click on layout menu

Click on numbering and section options 

Numbering and section option dialog box is displayed 

Select the required option 

Click on Ok. 

#* Adding Effects to corner 

Select the shape to which you want to add a corner effect 

Click on object menu

Click on corner effects

Corner effects dialog box is displayed

Choose on option from the effect popup menu

Type the distance in the size field 

Click on Ok to close the dialog box & to apply the changes.
